The PoCRA (Project on Climate Resilient Agriculture) is an initiative by the Government of Maharashtra to provide assistance to farmers in the state who are affected by drought and saltwater loss. This program provides financial assistance to farmers who have low income and are unable to meet their requirements. The program also aims to enhance the productivity of the farm and help the farmers to become more resilient to future droughts.
The main objective of this program is to ensure that the farmers in the state have a safe and reliable source of supply of the food they produce.
To achieve this, the program will work with the farmers to build the necessary infrastructure, such as farm storage, crop protection, and marketing facilities. The program will also provide them with the necessary technology, such as the use of a tractor, which the farmers will be able to use to enhance their supply chain and productivity.
